Lex RANDOLPH

Lex is passionate about sharing stories, social justice, and using the arts as a catalyst for social change. They have completed studies in Music, Anthropology and Arts Management, and have worked in the Community Arts and Cultural Development, and Arts and Health sectors for over 10 years as an Artist, Artsworker, and Project Manager.
Lex has been creating things and thinking critically about the world since they can remember, and now works across a range of artistic fields. They are currently producing abstract textile pieces, quirky watercolour and ink illustrations, and random sound bites that could be called music. Lex also continues to explore various media as a way to learn, as well as to express the ways in which they experience life.
Lex is gender non-conforming, which informs much of their arts practice, with focus on personal identities, body politics, and transformation. Lex currently lives and teaches Art and Music in the East Kimberley of WA, and collaborates with the local community of a range of creative projects.
