Eve Klein
'SITUATE provides an avenue for contemporary artists to experiment, moving beyond the boundaries of their individual practice by providing a space of provocation. Artists are given the opportunity to think about different mediums and scales of practice, and sent off into a range of contexts to realise ideas. One important part of programs like the SITUATE laboratory is that it enables artists to connect with other artists and festival partners which then generates ideas and opportunities for new projects. My favourite part about the SITUATE laboratory is that it encourages the development of works with an innovative outlook, exploring emerging mediums both within and beyond festival spaces'
Eve is on the Situate Assessment and Planning Panel.
